SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 13 @ TRI-CITY VALLEYCATS 3 – The Sussex County Miners (39-40) crushed the Tri-City ValleyCats (30-49), 13-3, on Wednesday night at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.

DOWN EAST BIRD DAWGS 12 @ NEW JERSEY JACKALS 7 – The Down East Bird Dawgs blew a six-run lead, watched New Jersey tie it in the eighth, then answered with a five-run ninth inning to pull away for a 12-7 victory over the Jackals at Hinchliffe Stadium Wednesday night, winning the series and inching to within 5.5 games of a playoff spot at 36-44.

LAKE ERIE CRUSHERS 11 @ FLORENCE Y’ALLS 2 – The Lake Erie Crushers (32-47) dominate division foe Florence Y’alls (47-33) scoring 11 runs in the first four innings. Lake Erie pitching ensured the victory, surrendering just two runs all night. 

BROCKTON ROX 4 @ QUÉBEC CAPITALES 10 – The Québec Capitales took the series on Wednesday night with a 10-4 win over the Brockton Rox at Stade Canac.

NEW YORK BOULDERS 2 @ TROIS-RIVIÈRES AIGLES 5 – The Trois-Rivières Aigles carried a no-hit bid into the ninth inning on Wednesday night, with Anthony Escobar leading the way in a 5-2 victory over the New York Boulders at Stade de Trois-Rivières.

WASHINGTON WILD THINGS 12 @ MISSISSIPPI MUD MONSTERS 9 – After plating 10 runs in the opener of the week-long series in Mississippi Tuesday, Washington followed it with a 12-run performance, at one stage leading 10-0, on its way to a second-straight win to open the week in Pearl by a final of 12-9. Kyle Edwards’ four-hit night and six times on base along with Andrew Czech’s three-RBI and two hits highlighted the night offensively, while Drew Stegura took a no-hit bid into the seventh in his fourth pro start.

SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 6 @ JOLIET SLAMMERS 3 – The Schaumburg Boomers made it five consecutive victories by notching a 6-3 decision over the Joliet Slammers on the road Wednesday night.

OTTAWA TITANS 7 @ WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS 2 – The Ottawa Titans (46-33) snapped a two-game slide with a bounce-back 7-2 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (40-40) on Wednesday night.
