The Brockton Rox erupted for 18 runs to defeat Québec, while Ottawa clinched its first series in nearly a month with a 13-run performance against New Jersey. Washington extended its winning streak to five games, Sussex County climbed above .500, and Evansville, Schaumburg, Trois-Rivières, and Joliet also picked up victories on Wednesday.

EVANSVILLE OTTERS 16 @ GATEWAYS GRIZZLIES 5 The Evansville Otters (31-19) turned the tables in a game-two victory against the Gateway Grizzlies (24-27) on Wednesday afternoon, 16-5.

 

WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS 8 @ SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 11 – The Schaumburg Boomers scored in four consecutive innings and banged out 16 hits in capturing an 11-8 decision over the Windy City ThunderBolts at Wintrust Field on Wednesday during the middle game of a split series.

 

SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 3 @ LAKE ERIE CRUSHERS 1 The Sussex County Miners have gotten over .500 after defeating the Lake Erie Crushers 3-1 behind a great starting pitching display by Tristian Harley to improve to 25-24 on the season. 

 

TROIS-RIVIÈRES AIGLES 13 @ TRI-CITY VALLEYCATS 5 The Trois-Rivières Aigles defeated the Tri-City ValleyCats 13 -5, at The Joe on Wednesday night.

 

NEW JERSEY JACKALS 5 @ OTTAWA TITANS 13 For the first time in almost a month, the Ottawa Titans (27-25) took a series, defeating the New Jersey Jackals (25-26) 13-5 on Wednesday night.

 

BROCKTON ROX 18 @ QUÉBEC CAPITALES 10 The Brockton Rox defeated the Québec Capitales 18-10, at Stade Canac on Wednesday night.

 

MISSISSIPPI MUD MONSTERS 10 @ JOLIET SLAMMERS 11 -  In yet another long game at Slammers Stadium, the Joliet Slammers (22-29) had just enough life in them to close out this game against the Mississippi Mud Monsters (23-30) in extra innings, pulling out the 11-10 win.
