QUÉBEC CAPITALES 5 @ TROIS-RIVIÈRES AIGLES 8 – The Trois-Rivières Aigles defeated the Québec Capitales 8-5 on Friday night.

GATEWAY GRIZZLIES 8 @ SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 5 – Down 3-2 in the top of the seventh inning on Friday night at Wintrust Field against the Schaumburg Boomers, the Gateway Grizzlies tied the score with a clutch RBI hit, and then took the lead for good with a three-run eighth inning before ultimately recording an 8-5 win in the crucial West Division series opener.

SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 17 @ EVANSVILLE OTTERS 6 – The Sussex County Miners stormed pass the Evansville Otters on Friday night, with a final score of 17-6.

MISSISSIPPI MUD MONSTERS 4 @ WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS 16 – On the back of 16 runs on 18 hits, the Windy City ThunderBolts defeated the Mississippi Mud Monsters 16-4 Friday night in the series opener at Ozinga Field.

FLORENCE Y’ALLS 6 @ JOLIET SLAMMERS 5 - The Florence Y’alls (27-26) narrowly escaped a five-run ninth from Joliet to win 6-5 on Friday night.
