WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS 9 @ MISSISSIPPI MUD MONSTERS 2 – Carlos Peña hit a pair of two-run homers and led the Windy City ThunderBolts to a 9-2 win over the Mississippi Mud Monsters at Trustmark Park Wednesday afternoon.

DOWN EAST BIRD DAWGS 5 @ TRI-CITY VALLEYCATS 2 – Colby Backus launched a go-ahead two-run homer in the seventh inning to break open a tight game, and Jace Miner delivered seven outstanding innings as the Down East Bird Dawgs rallied past the Tri-City ValleyCats 5-2 at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium Wednesday night, evening the series at one game apiece and improving to 43-49.

OTTAWA TITANS 2 @ NEW YORK BOULDERS 5 – The Boulders clinched their series against the Wild Card-leading Ottawa Titans with a 5-2 win on Wednesday night at Clover Stadium.

JOLIET SLAMMERS 2 @ QUÉBEC CAPITALES 7 – The Québec Capitales took game 2 of their series against the Joliet Slammers, winning 7-2 on Wednesday night at home.

SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 11 @ TROIS-RIVIÈRES AIGLES 4 – The Sussex County Miners defeated the Trois-Rivières Aigles 11-4 on Wednesday night.

BROCKTON ROX 3 @ NEW JERSEY JACKALS 4 – The Jackals came back in dramatic fashion as a chippy game between the Brockton Rox and New Jersey ended in a 4-3 walk-off win for the Jackals.

EVANSVILLE OTTERS 0 @ SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 10 – The Schaumburg Boomers scored in each of the first three innings and Cole Cook did the rest as the team steaked to a 10-0 win over the Evansville Otters on Wednesday night at Wintrust Field. The victory helped the Boomers maintain a two-game lead in the West Division with 10 games remaining in the season.

WASHINGTON WILD THINGS 12 @ GATEWAY GRIZZLIES 16 – The Gateway Grizzlies exploded for 12 runs in the first three innings on Wednesday night en route to a 16-12 win over the Washington Wild Things at Arsenal BG Ballpark, evening up the midweek series.
