TROIS-RIVIÈRES AIGLES 5 @ OTTAWA TITANS 12 – The bats got going early as the Ottawa Titans (45-31) beat the Trois-Rivières Aigles (27-50) by a final score of 12-5 on Saturday night, extending the win streak to four and the series unbeaten streak to ten in a row.
FLORENCE Y’ALLS 7 @ BROCKTON ROX 8 – The Brockton Rox earned their second consecutive win over the Florence Y’alls (45-32) on a game-winning sacrifice fly, securing an 8-7 victory.
DOWN EAST BIRD DAWGS 9 @ LAKE ERIE CRUSHERS 4 – Kalae Harrison homered and drove in three runs as the Down East Bird Dawgs pulled away for a 9-4 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers at ForeFront Field Saturday night, clinching the series win and setting up a chance at the first sweep in franchise history Sunday afternoon.
EVANSVILLE OTTERS 0 @ WASHINGTON WILD THINGS 2 – The Washington Wild Things shut out the Evansville Otters for a second straight game to win by a score of 2-0 Saturday night at EQT Park. The Wild Things improved to 53-24 on the season, extending their lead in the Central Division to eight games, while the Otters move to 45-32 with the loss.
NEW JERSEY JACKALS 9 @ QUÉBEC CAPITALES 11 – The Québec Capitales erased an early deficit with an eight-run inning on Saturday night, rallying past the New Jersey Jackals for an 11-9 victory.
JOLIET SLAMMERS 5 @ GATEWAY GRIZZLIES 9 – The Gateway Grizzlies were down 5-0 in the fifth inning on Saturday against the Joliet Slammers, but proceeded to surge late, scoring nine unanswered runs in their final four turns at bat for a crucial, 9-5 victory at Arsenal BG Ballpark that evened the weekend series at one game apiece.
MISSISSIPPI MUD MONSTERS 4 @ SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 18 – The Schaumburg Boomers scored in six different innings and cruised to an 18-4 victory over the Mississippi Mud Monsters before another full house at Wintrust Field (7,920) on Saturday night.
