BROCKTON ROX 1 @ DOWN EAST BIRD DAWGS 7 - Christian Adams broke a 1-0 deficit with a two-run homer in the sixth, and the Bird Dawgs broke the game open with five runs in the eighth to pull away for a 7-1 victory over the Brockton Rox at Historic Grainger Stadium Wednesday night, evening the six-game series at one game apiece and improving to 18-23.
SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 5 @ SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 4 - The Schaumburg Boomers held off a late rally to log a 5-4 decision over the Sussex County Miners on Wednesday night to secure the 700th career victory for manager Jamie Bennett.
OTTAWA TITANS 9 @ QUÉBEC CAPITALES 5 - On a provincial holiday in the province of Québec, the Ottawa Titans (22-18) got back in the win column with a 9-5 victory over the Québec Capitales (29-10) on Wednesday night, snapping a two-game skid.
