BROCKTON ROX 5 @ SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 4 - The Brockton Rox came back late to win their second straight series, defeating the Miners 5-4 in a comeback victory Sunday afternoon. The win pushes the Rox to 8-11 on the season and 6-1 over the course of the now completed road trip.
SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 4 @ FLORENCE Y'ALLS 7 - The Florence Y’alls (12-9) completed the sweep of the Schaumburg Boomers with a 7-4 win Sunday afternoon.
WASHINGTON WILD THINGS 0 @ LAKE ERIE CRUSHERS 6 - The Lake Erie Crushers (11-10) stole the final game of the series from the Washington Wild Things (14-7). The Crushers shutout the visitors from Pennsylvania with the help of not just tremendous starting pitching, but excellent power from their bats in a 6-0 final.
OTTAWA TITANS 3 @ DOWN EAST BIRD DAWGS 5 - Jacob Corson stepped off the bench and delivered when it mattered most, driving in two runs on a pinch-hit infield single in the eighth inning to erase a one-run deficit and lift the Down East Bird Dawgs to a 5-3 series-closing victory over the Ottawa Titans at Historic Grainger Stadium Sunday afternoon, completing a dominant 5-1 series win and sending Down East on the road with a three-game winning streak.
GATEWAY GRIZZLIES 7 @ JOLIET SLAMMERS 5 - Going for their first sweep of the season in Joliet on Sunday afternoon, the Gateway Grizzlies won in dramatic fashion, beating the Slammers 7-5 in 10 innings at Slammers Stadium.
QUÉBEC CAPITALES 16 @ TROIS-RIVIÈRES AIGLES 8 - The Québec Capitales swept the series with the Trois-Rivières Aigles, finishing it off with a 16-8 win on Sunday afternoon.
