Elsewhere, Florence exploded for 17 runs against Schaumburg, Gateway routed Joliet, and Windy City edged Evansville in sudden death at Ozinga Field. NEW YORK BOULDERS 3 @ NEW JERSEY JACKALS 10 - The Jackals won their third straight game with a thumping 10-3 win over the New York Boulders on Friday night.

WASHINGTON WILD THINGS 10 @ LAKE ERIE CRUSHERS 4 - Behind another strong outing from Kobe Foster and their seventh-straight quality start, the Wild Things did plenty enough damage on the mound and at the plate to take the series opener in Avon, Ohio, 10-4 over the Lake Erie Crushers. The lead was as large as eight during the night.

OTTAWA TITANS 6 @ DOWN EAST BIRD DAWGS 12 -  The Down East Bird Dawgs trailed by four in the fourth inning but erupted for eight unanswered runs across four innings to pull away from the Ottawa Titans 12-6 Friday night at Historic Grainger Stadium, taking a commanding 3-1 series lead and improving to 8-11 on the season.

SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 4 @ FLORENCE Y'ALLS 17 -  The Florence Y’alls (10-9) demolished the Schaumburg Boomers (12-7) 17-4 on Friday night. 

BROCKTON ROX 5 @ SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 4 - The Brockton Rox dish out the first punch as they travel to Skylands Stadium to take on the Sussex County Miners and take the first of three series on the road, extending their win streak to 5 games.

TRI-CITY VALLEYCATS 10 @ MISSISSIPPI MUD MONSTERS 7 - The Tri-City ValleyCats (5-12) topped the Mississippi Mud Monsters, 10-7, in an 3 hour, 43 minute marathon on Friday, May 29. It was the longest ValleyCats game of the season.

EVANSVILLE OTTERS 2 @ WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS 2 - Carter Delaney threw a 1-2-3 inning to wrap up a sudden death 2-2 victory for the ThunderBolts over the Evansville Otters at Ozinga Field Friday night.

GATEWAY GRIZZLIES 16 @ JOLIET SLAMMERS 2 -  The Gateway Grizzlies jumped all over the Joliet Slammers early Friday night at Slammers Stadium, scoring seven runs over the first four innings before adding on late and coasting to a 16-2 win.
