LP PELLETIER WINS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD
Louis-Philippe Pelletier is once again putting together an outstanding offensive year for the Aigles. His play over the last week is but a glimpse of his consistency in the Trois-Rivières outfield. In five games, Pelletier went 10-for-18 with a double, a homer, and 5 RBIs. He registered at least one hit in every game he played and four multi-hit performances. His best game came on Wednesday against the Tri-City ValleyCats, where he went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a walk. His splits for the week ended at .556 AVG/.636 OBP/.778 SLG.
Pelletier is a Frontier League veteran, playing in his fifth season in the Québec province (one with the Québec Capitales, four with Trois-Rivières). In his Frontier League career, he is batting over .315 and driven in more than 200 runs in nearly 400 games. This season, he is once again hitting over .300 and is on pace to surpass his RBI total from 2024. Pelletier previously won the Player of the Week award in June 2024.
