KELLUM CLARK WINS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD

AVON, OH – In the first full week since the All-Star break, players from last season’s conference champions posted gaudy numbers to capture weekly awards. Schaumburg Boomers outfielder Kellum Clark hit .538 (14-for-26) with three doubles and two home runs, while Québec Capitales starting pitcher Braeden Allemann struck out 11 over 6.2 innings. 

Schaumburg Boomers outfielder Kellum Clark started his week by going 3-for-5 at the plate with a two-run home run in a win over the Windy City ThunderBolts on Tuesday. He collected an RBI double on Wednesday and tallied four hits — including a home run and a double — in Thursday’s series finale.

Clark stayed hot against the Joliet Slammers, going 2-for-4 in all three games of Schaumburg’s weekend series. He doubled and scored the Boomers’ first run during Friday’s win and scored on Will Prater’s walk-off double on Saturday. 

Clark is in his first season with the Boomers. He played for the Pioneer League’s Rocky Mountain Vibes in 2025 and spent the previous two years in the New York Mets organization. Clark played collegiately at Mississippi State University and was a member of the 2021 College World Series champion team.
