GRAHAM BROWN WINS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD

Graham Brown, a newcomer for the Evansville Otters this season, registered a hit in each of the five games he played in this past week (the sixth being a tied game delayed due to lightning on Sunday). In the mid-week series against the Schaumburg Boomers, Brown had three multi-hit games with five total RBIs. He continued to excel in the batter’s box against the Lake Erie Crushers over the weekend, registering three hits, including a triple as the Otters took yet another series. Brown’s most impressive performance came in the form of a 4-for-4 two-double showing in the series finale against Schaumburg on Thursday. His hitting line for the week ended at .545 AVG/.600 OBP/.818 SLG.

Brown is in his rookie season in Evansville after spending three seasons at Coastal Carolina University. He collected nearly 200 hits for the Chanticleers and batted .310 between from 2022-2024. In 11 games with the Otters this season, Brown is batting .339 and leads the team in average, RBIs, and home runs. He is the first Otter to win a weekly award since Zach Smith in June 2024; he is the first Evansville Player of the Week since Noah Myers took home the award in late 2023.
