TROY, NY - The Frontier League is proud to announce that Tri-City ValleyCats Manager Greg Tagert and Schaumburg Boomers Manager Jamie Bennett have been named the managers for the Atlantic and Midwest All-Stars, respectively.

Tagert is in his 30th year of professional baseball and his second with the ValleyCats. He managed Tri-City to a Wild Card berth last season and currently has the club in a playoff spot in the North Division. Tagert has won more than 80 games at the helm in Tri-City, 500 as a manager in the Frontier League, and nearly 1,400 in his professional career.

The coaching staff for the Atlantic All-Star team will feature Québec Capitales Manager and reigning Frontier League Manager of the Year Pat Scalabrini and Ottawa Titans Assistant Coach David Peterson. Tri-City Pitching Coach Tom Thornton and Hitting Coach David Robinson will also join Tagert's All-Star staff.

Jamie Bennett was named the manager of the Midwest All-Stars after leading the Boomers to first place in the Midwest Conference. Since his first season managing in Schaumburg, Bennett has won four Frontier League championships and compiled more than 600 wins. Before entering the coaching world, Bennett pitched in the Philadelphia Phillies minor league system and in the Frontier League with Greg Tagert's Dubois County Dragons.

Bennett's All-Star staff will include Schaumburg coaches Dylan Stutsman and Nick Oddo alongside Windy City ThunderBolts Hitting Coach Kevin Santiago.
