JOLIET SLAMMERS 9 @ LAKE ERIE CRUSHERS 2 In a game where the Joliet Slammers (19-25) had both pitching and batting go right for them against the Lake Erie Crushers (20-26), the Slammers got a strong 9-2 victory on Tuesday.



TRI-CITY VALLEYCATS 0 @ OTTAWA TITANS 4 Eric Pardinho (win, 2-3) accomplished the impossible, retiring 24 straight batters before the game was called due to weather. It goes down in the record books as a no-hitter, but it's still a true what-if moment on what could have been.

 


TROIS-RIVIÈRES AIGLES 3 @ BROCKTON ROX 4 The Brockton Rox defeated the Trois-Rivières Aigles 3-4 on Tuesday night, taking the first game of the series.

 


DOWN EAST BIRD DAWGS 6 @ NEW JERSEY JACKALS 2 –  Axel Andueza tied his career high with seven strikeouts, and Christian Adams delivered a two-run homer as the Down East Bird Dawgs rolled to a 6-2 victory over the New Jersey Jackals Tuesday night, picking up their second consecutive win and improving to 20-26 on the season.

 


NEW YORK BOULDERS 12 @ SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 4 The Boulders have won seven games in a row for the first time since early last June after rolling over the Sussex County Miners 12-4 Tuesday night at Skylands Stadium in Augusta, NJ.

 


QUÉBEC CAPITALES 0 @ SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 7 Buddie Pindel tossed eight shutout innings as the Schaumburg Boomers opened a six-game homestand with a 7-0 victory over the Quebec Capitales in the opener of a mid-week series at Wintrust Field on Tuesday night.

 


GATEWAY GRIZZLIES 5 @ MISSSISSIPPI MUD MONSTERS 5 Jay Pecci reached 100 managerial wins in dramatic fashion as the Mississippi Mud Monsters (19-27) defeated the Gateway Grizzlies (22-23) in Sudden Death after the clubs finished tied 5-5 through 10 innings.

 


FLORENCE Y’ALLS 7 @ WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS 4 The Florence Y’alls (24-20) won the series opener against Windy City 7-4 on Tuesday night.

 


WASHINGTON WILD THINGS 23 @ EVANSVILLE OTTERS 10 - Washington used a 21-hit barrage to score 23 runs in the road trip’s opener at Bosse Field, upending the Otters 23-10. In the win, Jeff Liquori and Cole Fowler hit grand slams, four had four RBI or more and Andrew Czech belted the 100th homer of his storied career.
