EVANSVILLE OTTERS 12 @ GATEWAY GRIZZLIES 8 -The Evansville Otters used a seven-run sixth inning to defeat the Gateway Grizzlies (22-17) in game one of the series, 12-8.
SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 4 @ JOLIET SLAMMERS 5 - The Schaumburg Boomers scored four runs with two outs and held a late lead, but the Joliet Slammers plated three runs in the eighth inning to capture the opener of the mid-week road series on Tuesday night.
