OTTAWA TITANS 11 @ BROCKTON ROX 1 - The Ottawa Titans (28-29) swept away the Brockton Rox (22-35) in Friday's twin bill - scoring a 4-3 win in the resumed opener, followed by an 11-1 thumping in the nightcap. The team has now won nine of 11 and 17 of their previous 22.
TROIS-RIVIÈRES AIGLES 2 @ TRI-CITY VALLEYCATS 3 - All-Star outfielder Mathieu Vallée broke his own record, stealing a record-seven bases in a series opening 3-2 loss to the Tri-City ValleyCats at Joseph L. Bruno on Friday night.
SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 3 @ GATEWAY GRIZZLIES 9 - The Gateway Grizzlies hit three home runs offensively, and got a season-best nine strikeouts in six strong innings on the mound from Lukas Veinbergs (4-3) to record a 9-3 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers on Friday night at Arsenal BG Ballpark. With the win, the club's season-high sixth in a row, Gateway pulls into a tie atop the West Division standings with the Boomers as well.
WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS 4 @ JOLIET SLAMMERS 2 - Dylan Kirkeby threw a career-high 7.1 innings and allowed just one run as the ThunderBolts defeated the Joliet Slammers 4-2 in the second half opener at Slammers Stadium Friday night.
NEW JERSEY JACKALS 3 @ NEW YORK BOULDERS 9 - The New York Boulders exited the All-Star break and entered the win column against the New Jersey Jackals, 9-3, Friday night at Clover Stadium.
WASHINGTON WILD THINGS 9 @ SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 2 -Behind a 15-hit effort and a quality start from Jordan DiValerio, Washington won the series opener Friday at Skylands Stadium over the Sussex County Miners, 9-2.
DOWN EAST BIRD DAWGS 3 @ QUÉBEC CAPITALES 11 -The Down East Bird Dawgs couldn’t overcome an early deficit Friday night, falling 11–3 to the Quebec Capitales in the opener of a three-game weekend series at CANAC Stadium.
MISSISSIPPI MUD MONSTERS 10 @ FLORENCE Y'ALLS 1 - The Mississippi Mud Monsters toppled the Florence Y'alls at Thomas More Stadium on Friday night by a score of 10-1.
EVANSVILLE OTTERS 1 @ LAKE ERIE CRUSHERS 0 - The Evansville Otters (22-35) started their longest road trip of the season on the right foot with a 1-0 win over the Lake Erie Crushers (29-26). The pitchers duel saw both starters go at least seven innings.
