FLORENCE Y'ALLS 8 @ SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 7 - The Florence Y'alls used timely hitting and insurance runs to take the first game of the road trip, 8-7, over the Schaumburg Boomers.

NEW YORK BOULDERS 0 @ EVANSVILLE OTTERS 6 - The Evansville Otters (25-48) bounce back with a big win against the New York Boulders (40-30) on Tuesday night, 6-0. The Evansville pitching staff combined for their second shutout since the All-Star break.

TROIS-RIVIÈRES AIGLES 7 @ OTTAWA TITANS 5- Opening a season-long nine-game homestand, the Ottawa Titans (37-36) came up just short in a 7-5 loss to the Trois-Rivières Aigles (30-43) on Tuesday - stranding the potential tying run at first in the bottom of the ninth inning.

NEW JERSEY JACKALS 7 @ TRI-CITY VALLEYCATS 14 - The Tri-City ValleyCats (42-28) defeated the New Jersey Jackals (22-49) 14-7 on Tuesday at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. It was the most runs the ‘Cats scored at “The Joe” this year. 3,209 fans entered the ballpark for Tunnel to Towers Night.

SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 5 @ DOWN EAST BIRD DAWGS 4 - Despite a strong start, the Down East Bird Dawgs fell 5–4 to the Sussex County Miners on Tuesday night at Historic Grainger Stadium. A two-run homer in the seventh inning proved the difference as Sussex County held off a late Bird Dawgs push to take the series opener.

WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS 2 @ WASHINGTON WILD THINGS 0 - Dante Maietta allowed only two hits over five shutout innings as the ThunderBolts defeated the Washington Wild Things 2-0 in the series opener at EQT Park Tuesday night.

BROCKTON ROX 2 @ QUÉBEC CAPITALES 4 - The Québec Capitales got things back on track with a 4-2 series-opening victory against the Brockton Rox at Stade Canac on Tuesday night.
