WINDY CITY THUNDERBOLTS 4 @ JOLIET SLAMMERS 5 - The Joliet Slammers outlasted the Windy City ThunderBolts in a 5-4 contest at Slammers Stadium on Tuesday night.
SCHAUMBURG BOOMERS 7 @ SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS 3 - The Schaumburg Boomers set a single-season franchise record for homers while amassing six extra-base hits to power past the Sussex County Miners 7-3 on Tuesday night in the opener of a six-game roadtrip to New Jersey.
TRI-CITY VALLEYCATS 8 @ NEW YORK BOULDERS 5 - The Tri-City ValleyCats (47-29) defeated the New York Boulders (43-33) 8-5 on Tuesday at Clover Stadium. Manager Greg Tagert earned his 100th win with the ‘Cats, joining Pete Incaviglia (159), Ed Romero (134), and Gregg Langbehn (127) as the fourth skipper to reach the century mark.
