EVAN WEBSTER WINS PITCHER OF THE WEEK AWARD

Left-handed pitcher Evan Webster earns the Pitcher of the Week award after two outstanding starts for the Florence Y’alls. He pitched 13 complete innings in his two starts, allowing just one unearned run and striking out 11. He went 1-0 after pitching seven innings against the Trois- Rivières Aigles, striking out eight.



Webster is a local product for the Florence Y’alls, pitching at the University of Louisville before joining the Frontier League in 2024. In his second season with the Y’alls, Webster has more than doubled his innings pitched and strikeouts while lowering his career ERA. This is the first weekly award of his young career and represents the first Pitcher of the Week award for Florence since Ryan Watson won it the first week of the 2024 season.
