BRAEDEN ALLEMANN WINS PITCHER OF THE WEEK AWARD

Braeden Allemann of the Québec Capitales takes home the Pitcher of the Week award after tossing a no-hitter against the Down East Bird Dawgs in the first game of a doubleheader on Friday night. The right-hander struck out 10 in seven innings while not allowing a hit. The Bird Dawgs only managed three baserunners over the course of the game.

Allemann is in his third season in the Frontier League. He joined Québec after spending his first two seasons in Trois-Rivières with the Aigles. So far in his first season with the defending Frontier League champions, Allemann is 3-0 with a miniscule 0.72 ERA across six games (four starts). The 29-year-old has spent time as both a starter and reliever in his Frontier League career, with this season showcasing his brilliance in both roles. Allemann joins outfielder Justin Gideon as a Capitales’ weekly award winner in 2025.
