AUSTIN DENNIS WINS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD
Infielder Austin Dennis caught fire at the plate last week, going 16-for-26 in six games for the New York Boulders against two of the top teams in the Atlantic Conference. His week included five multi-hit games along with nine RBIs. His performances against the Sussex County Miners across all three games was a key part of New York’s series victory. He had three straight three-hit games with two triples and five RBIs. His splits for the week ended as .615 AVG/.630 OBP/.808 SLG.
Austin Dennis has become well-known for his offensive skillset for the Boulders over the last four seasons. His 317 total hits in a New York uniform have earned him a reputation as one of the most steady middle infielders in the Frontier League. He earns his first Player of the Week award to go along with his second All-Star selection, and he is the second Boulder to take home a weekly honor this season.
