ABDEL GUADALUPE WINS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD

AVON, OH –The final week of the regular season featured many dominant performances as teams battled for playoff berths and seeding. For his role in helping his club to a division title, Sussex County’s Abdel Guadalupe was selected as the final Player of the Week for the 2025 season.

Abdel Guadalupe led the Frontier League with 13 hits last week as Sussex County claimed their first division title since 2019. Guadalupe’s torrid finish against fellow playoff qualifiers Québec and New York raised his batting average by 33 points to finish the season over the .300 mark. A native of Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Guadalupe is in his first Frontier League season after spending three years with the Northern Colorado Owlz of

the Pioneer League.
