Y'ALLS ADD TWO CALIFORNIA WINTER LEAGUE STANDOUTS

The Florence Y'alls have signed catcher Allan Goodwin and left-handed pitcher Ayura Kobayashi from the California Winter League.

Goodwin his college ball at the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixvile where he had an over .300 batting average in both 2022 and 2023 while winning 2 Colonia State Athletic Conference Player of the Week Awards. Goodwin as seleted First Team All-Conference in 2023, when he finished in the top five in batting average (.457), slugging percentage (.713), and OPS (1.227). His 8 RBI are tied for the CWL lead this winter.

Kobayashi is a Lefty from Osaka, Japan and is a CWL standout. He shined brightest in his February 4th outing where he struck out 11 in 5 innings to help lead the Bombers to a 6-3 victory. Kobayahi currently leads the CWL with 36 strikeouts in 17 innings and has yet to allow a run. Kobayashi played college baseball at Keiai University in Chiba. He spent the past two seasons playing for the Tokushima Indigo Socks of the Shikoku Island League and the Miyazaki Sunshine of the Kyushu Asia League.
