Traverse City Tops Gateway in Pitchers Duel

TRAVERSE CITY, MI- The Traverse City Beach Bums(23-26) and the Gateway Grizzlies(22-30), matched zeroes on the scoreboard until the ninth as the Beach Bums took the middle game of this weekend’s three game set by a final score of 1-0.

Starters Reinaldo Lopez for the Beach Bums and Mike Elwood were the stars in tonight’s game, each flummoxing the entire batting order in tonight’s contest through eight scoreless.
