Schaub joins previous teammate, Teo Martinez, as the second player sold to New York Yankees and third overall player sold to a Major League Baseball team by the Aviators this season.
Schaub joined the Aviators in 2014. During that season Schaub posted a 1-6 record with a 4.62 ERA. He recorded 58 strikeouts to just 20 walks over 46.2 innings pitched. This season with Rockford he has appeared in 18 games and owns a 1-0 record with a 0.50 ERA, 17 strikeouts, 2 walks, and is tied for first with 12 saves in the Frontier League.
Schaub is on his way to the New York Yankees organization and as of right now has not received his assignment.
