(Florence, KY) – This Saturday, July 5, the Florence Freedom are celebrating Military Appreciation night presented by Jim Beam. Thanks to 30 local sponsors, over 1,000 tickets have been purchased for active and retired military to claim at no cost. First pitch on Saturday is set for 6:05 p.m.

Active and retired members of the military and their families who would like to attend the game can email Chanel Lessing at  These sponsored tickets are for the use of immediate family members of active or retired military personnel. Limited tickets remain and are on a first come, first served basis.

Promotions on Military Appreciation Night will feature the Freedom wearing specialty jerseys fans can bid on through a silent auction. Jersey sales will benefit the Kentucky National Guard Memorial Fund. All military personnel will be welcomed down onto the field during the 7th inning “Military Call-Down Salute” and fans will enjoy a post-game concert by Glory Days.
